Whale and Star
Whale & Star Press publishes books on art, poetry, art practice, and critical theory, with its titles found in bookstores, libraries, schools, universities, and museums around the world. Founded by artist Enrique Martinez Celaya in 1998, it emerged from and remains responsive to the concerns of the studio. The publishing program, which involves collaboration with scholars, writers, musicians, and artists, include five series: Artists & Writers, Working Book, Monographs, Whale, and Editions.
